Who are your suppliers?
At Green Piñata, early childhood education and the safety of your child is our top priority! For this reason, we choose only those manufacturers who meet or exceed the safest international standards for quality and safety. Most of them comply multiple safety standards such as ASTM, EN71, Health Canada and AUS/NZ. Some of our manufacturers include Hape, Haba, PlanToys, MapleLandmark and Guidecraft.
How many unique number of toy models you carry in your inventory?
We carry over 350 unique toys in our catalog to make sure that we offer a wide variety of choices for each age group. Additionally, we frequently add new toy models to keep up with your little one's changing interests and educational needs.
Why are there some toys shown in your catalog that are not available when I try to add them to my next shipment?
We offer over 350 different toy models and carry multiples of each one in our inventory. However, our inventory does vary day to day based on what our customers have returned and requested for their next shipment.
How are toys sanitized?
We are moms of little children ourselves and we totally get your concern about the importance of germ-free toys when it comes to renting. Please see details on our sanitization and cleaning process here.
Are your toys educational?
Our toys are meant to be educational and stimulating, to enhance development, while also facilitating fun and creativity. Our educational experts have carefully crafted our proprietary Toy Curriculum and have made sure all our toys haves great educational value.
How detailed is your curriculum?
Our educational specialists have identified, in great detail, each of the developmental milestones between 6 months and 5 years of age. The toys that our experts recommend for each Piñata have a mix of essential early developmental skills such as Fine Motor, Cognitive, Social and Language. However, we understand parents know their children the best. Therefore, you get the option to review our recommendation and make your own selections.
Is it true that commonly available toys are unsafe?
It is unfortunate but very true! Toxins such as PVC, Phthalate, BPA, Lead, etc found in toys (especially the ones with bendable plastics) have been linked to cancer, learning disabilities, kidney disease, bone fragility, and behavioral complexities. These chemicals enter the child's body when they put the toys in their mouth or even through skin contact. Young children under 5 years are known to be particularly vulnerable to the dangerous effects of these toxins, especially since their systems and organs are still developing. Green Piñata endeavors to provide toys without ever risking safety.
Shipping and Returning Piñatas:
Is shipping included?
Yes! Shipping both ways are always FREE. A prepaid return label is sent in your shipment and you simply have to paste it on your return shipment.
How do I return the shipment?
In every shipment, you will find a prepaid USPS label inside. You simply have to stick the label on the shipment and drop it off at your nearest Post Office.
I am too busy to drop the Piñata at the Post Office. Can I schedule a pick up?
Yes! click here to schedule a free USPS pick-up. Postal Service pickup is always free!
Will I get a reminder when I am eligible for the next shipment of new toys?
Yes, for all the busy parents out there, you will get an email reminder from us a day prior to your next eligible shipment date. You can then approve your upcoming Piñata by logging in to your account and get ready to return your shipment for a new set of fun! Remember, there is no late fee in case you want to enjoy the toys a little longer.
Can we return only part of our piñata and keep the rest for a while longer?
In order to receive a new shipment, all toys need to either be returned to us, or can be purchased. If you would like to purchase a toy please email us at email@example.com

Your Subscription and how it Works:
What ages do you serve?
We specialize in toys for kids between 6 months and 5 years of age.
Can I add more than one child to the same subscription plan?
You can definitely review and choose toys for different age groups when you review your piñata 5 days prior to your next eligible shipment date. Watch out for the email notification from us when your piñata is ready for your approval before every shipment.
Are all the plans billed monthly?
Yes, you are billed monthly. The charges are a subscription fee and are recurring on the same day each month.
Can we pause the subscription?
Yes, we understand that you may travel out of town for a few months or simply want to pause the renting to enjoy more time outdoors. We'd be happy to pause the subscription for you. You can log into your account and request a pause of your subscription at any time. Your pause will go into affect when your current piñata at home is returned to us.
What if we would like to cancel the subscription?
We at Green Piñata make every effort to ensure our customers are content. However, if any issue arises, your subscription can be cancelled at any time with NO penalty. Remember, the cancellation must be done at least 10 days prior to the next billing cycle to avoid being charged and you will need to return all Green Piñata toys to us within 10 days of the cancellation.
Are there late fees?
There is NEVER late fees at Green Piñata. You can keep the toys as long as you like and when your child is ready you can return them and then we will ship you new ones.

How many toys do we receive in each shipment?
You will receive 4 toys in each shipment.
How can I choose toys of my choice?
Once you are logged into your account, go to the "Upcoming Piñata" tab and you can see options to:
1. Approve our expert's recommend toys if you like them.
2. Edit if you want to swap our expert recommendation with other toys you may like by clicking on remove toy when you are in edit mode to free up space in your box.
3. Build your own Piñ from scratch.
You will get a reminder from us when you are able to perform the above actions for your upcoming Piñata.

What if we want to purchase the toys?
Absolutely any toy can be bought for 10% off of the manufacturer list price. Please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of the toy you'd like to purchase and we can provide a purchase price to you.
What if a toy is damaged or lost?
We have got you covered! Normal wear and tear are completely acceptable. If a toy is lost or completely damaged, we will charge you a minimal fee for replacement. We also offer an insurance plan for a small monthly fee so that you can have a worry-free rental.
What is your insurance plan?
We trust that you take every effort to keep the toys safe from damaging or losing significant number of pieces. Kids being kids may hide/lose a few pieces here and there. Our insurance plan lets you rent the toys worry-free. It costs $5 a month and covers missing pieces. However, it does not cover losing or significantly damaging the toy(s). Please email us at email@example.com if you want us add you to the insurance plan.
Gift Subscriptions and Certificates
How can I give a gift subscription?
Choose the option "Gift a Subscription" on https://greenpinatatoys.com/choose-plan . Choose an existing amount and enter your own amount you'd like to gift. If you like to e-mail the gift certificate to the parent/caregiver of the child, enter the receiver's information. Else, you can print the certificate that will be e-mailed to you. The gift certificate consists of a gift code that can be redeemed.
How do I redeem a gift certificate?
Choose 'Redeem a Gift Certificate' on https://greenpinatatoys.com/choose-plan . If you are a registered customer, login to your account and go to the tab "Gift Card/Discount Coupon" in your dashboard and enter the Gift Coupon Code. If you are new customer, please register and in the registration form, you can enter the Gift Coupon Code and the credit will be applied.
I was given a gift card/gift subscription. Why do I still need to enter my credit card information when signing up?
All members must supply valid billing information when signing up that will only be charged when the gifted funds have been exhausted, if there are any damages to toys, or if a customer chooses to purchase any of the toys received in their pinatas.
Will my membership automatically be cancelled after my gift card/gift subscription is used up?
No, all memberships stay active and charged monthly until a customer formally submits a request for a cancellation or a pause of their account.
