If I had a kid-free afternoon and nowhere to be, I would..
take a barre class that I used to take almost everyday for a couple of years before Gio was born and then enjoy a nice hot bath.
What's the one thing that helps you stay sane as a Mom of little ones?
Honestly, it's my phone. I try not to use my phone around my baby too often but whenever he is napping or enjoying his alone time with toys, I find my phone is the easiest and fastest way to connect with the outside world. I chat with my friends, schedule play dates with other mom friends, catch up on news, and even watch an episode of my favorite tv shows if I have enough time.
What is your favorite part about GP?
I love the fact that Gio can enjoy a new set of age-appropriate toys every month and we send them back so other kids can enjoy them, too (space-saving and perfect for minimalists!). Before having Gio, I worried about how I should choose and buy toys for my baby and I had no idea how many toys he would really need. With the information and recommendation on Green Pinata Toys website, I can easily choose toys for Gio and he just loves to play with the new toys he receives every month.
What do you and your child do once your GP box arrives?
It seems like Gio recognizes the Green Pinata Toys box now. As soon as I pick it up and show it to Gio, he asks me to open it right away (by babbling, screaming out of joy and clapping hands). We check out the toys together one by one and I show him how he can play with the toys but Gio immediately finds another way to play with them.
As a veteran Green Piñata mama, how do you make the most out of your GP experience?
When I edit the box, I try to choose toys from different categories or types so Gio can learn and develop different set of skills playing with the Green Pinata Toys each month. I also place them on top of Gio's toy box so he would play with them first before taking out other toys inside his toy box.
